Sometimes life can be hard and it feels too difficult to cope. You may be in distress or turmoil because of current circumstances in your life. Perhaps recurring behaviour, feelings, thoughts or a problem from the past are difficult to handle. At these times it can be helpful to talk to someone, and counselling or psychotherapy can provide an opportunity to either work on a specific issue or take a longer and deeper look at life and how you are.

About Me

I am a qualified integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, drawing on several ways of working depending on what suits you and your situation.

I aim to provide a comfortable and confidential environment, and give you respect, care and compassion while exploring the issues that you bring and how they are affecting you.

Together we can consider the way forward, explore any action that would be beneficial, and consider different ways of thinking and handling feelings, that could also lead to different ways of communicating with others.

I can help process any troubling memories.

I offer a therapeutic relationship giving support and encouragement as you explore and experience change in your self and your life.

Some of the concerns my clients have brought to therapy include:

  • Relationships
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Lack of self-esteem and self confidence
  • Feeling a fraud inside
  • Effects of abuse - emotional, physical, sexual
  • PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder)
  • Fear and panic attacks
  • Dissociative disorder
  • Grief and loss
  • Anger management
  • Addiction
  • Obsessive and compulsive feelings, thoughts and behaviour
  • Issues around food and eating
  • Lack of meaning and purpose in life
  • Work related issues
